As a transit rider myself, I find the book just wonderful! Not just because of the "car-free" options, but also because of your choice of hikes - original, fun & interesting!The only reason for the 4/5 is because I had a hard time explaining to my car-driving friends how to meet me! The streets are a little unclear from the maps provided and the cross-streets are not listed. This makes it difficult to get a group together to go, which I'm sure you know is important. Once I get those car-addicts out there, I can explain how much easier life would be sans their cars! Thanks for many wonderful hikes

hi Brian, a few years ago I was reading your book on the Skytrain and there you were beside me! It was one of those fantastic, funny life coincidences. I've bought a few copies of your book over the years as my friends seem to never return the copy I "lend" them. Thank you for all the great adventures you've suggested. I look forward to the sequel.
