We've been Googled!
Friday, 23 June 2006

The word is out now. Over the past couple of days Slumlord Zoro has begun appearing in Google and Yahoo searches under all of the keywords that count. Through a bit of cyber sleuthing we've been able to determine that some of the more savvy would-be tenants do indeed search before moving in. That search will henceforth be rewarded with about the biggest heads up anyone could want. Hopefully that will be felt in the Zoro bottom line.

A rental glut is on the horizon. You can do your part by asking Reggie and the other Zoros tough questions in front of apparent tenants you come across in the lobby, elevator and hallways.

Newsflash
CBC Footage: City Sues Zoro Holdings

According to the lead story on the CBC Evening News [December 16, 2011] the Mehta family and Zoro Holdings Ltd, their notorious residential tenement holding company, are "facing legal action" from the City of Vancouver for the ongoing failure to comply with city ordinances related to safety, health and upkeep of rental properties.

Further, an arrest warrant has been issued for Reggie Mehta for failure to comply with court orders for damages arising from a whole host of complaints ranging from black mold and bed bug infestations to inadequate heat and building and fire code violations. These shenanigans have been going on for decades, as victims -- er -- tenants past and present know only too well.
